Girls, when you’re feeling sad, just remember:

  • a vagina can go back to it’s original size after taking something 20x its size
  • a penis will end up looking like an empty potato sack that’s been run over quite a lot if it does

you can do this girl

be as resilient as your vaginaimage

shine bright like a ‘gina

what did I just read

On Easter, we had this tradition where an old man down the road would paint little ‘bunny’ prints along the sidewalk, as well as up to the door of every house where a child lives…and he’s done this every year, without fail, since before I was born.

Over the summer, that old man passed away, so no one in their right mind expected to see the tracks this year.  However, when I woke up- there they were!

Turns out that his eighteen year old grandson (who happens to be known as the badass of our school) got up at three this morning and spent four hours- by himself -painting the prints; just to make sure that the neighborhood kids wouldn’t be disappointed.

My faith in our generation = restored.

This is Jakey (Damian cosplayer) with his new friend Ethan at the San Jose Comicfest. Ethan is an extraordinarily artistic 8 year old with his own booth at the convention, whom Jakey consistently returned to during the day. When asked by Mick Gray (the inker for Batman and Robin), what his favorite part of the convention was, Jake told him it was meeting Ethan. At the end of the con, Ethan gifted the spider-man he had been working on all morning to Jakey and even signed his work. Ethan’s face when he handed the art to Jakey… omg. My heart cannot take how adorable they are. Jacob is now practicing how to draw a robin, so he can have something to give Ethan tomorrow. <3

/pats that’s what i thought too ;v;

I got tired of this argument and decided to email the source and tracked down John Loeffler’s current company and contact information. One of his assistants got back to me and relayed the message. I’ll post both my query and the response below, with personal details removed, of course.

The QuestionGreetings John,

I am a theatre technician within the Boston area with a huge interest in video games. Approaching some of the history of a series fond to me, Pokemon, I discovered that you had written the Pokemon theme song to the English dub for the show. I wanted to both congratulate you on such great success, and ask a question that has been tearing the internet apart for years: According to your best memory of the lyrics of the song, are you “teaching Pokemon to understand” or “Each Pokemon to understand the power that’s inside”.

This conflict has caused massive fanbase arguments and problems interpreting which was meant. I figured what better way to find an answer to this dilemma than to contact the source directly and ask.

I appreciate your time and assistance in putting this matter to rest.

Cordially, Angela M.

The Answer

Hi Angela,

John tried to respond and for some reason the email bounced back, so hopefully you receive this one.

Despite the multiple websites that have it written incorrectly, John confirmed that the correct lyric is ” TEACH “

Hope this helps!

Best,
